Alaska Outfitter #1
Congratulations! You have discovered Alaska's premier trophy Dall
sheep hunting guide service. A dedicated Alaska mountain specialist,
this outfitter offers one of a kind, remote wilderness hunts for Dall sheep.
All of his Dall sheep hunts have been designed not just as a hunt but a
total remote wilderness experience. If you're ready to experience the real Alaska as it used to be, this is where your trip begins. This outfitter's Dall sheep hunts are conducted in August.
These are backpack hunts in an extremely primitive, remote area. Though these hunts take place in some of the
easiest sheep country that exists, it is still sheep country nonetheless and hunters need to be in the best shape
possible. Realistically minimum level of fitness required would be the ability to walk in rough terrain 6 hours per
day while carrying a 30 + pound pack. Sheep in his areas have horns ranging from, 34 to 46 inches with many
record book rams taken during his hunts.

$16,000
This is a trophy hunting guide -service owned and operated by
the outfitter and his wife. The outfitter himself is the head guide
in charge of their operations. When selecting guiding areas he
seeks out remote places in Alaska that have very limited hunting pressure. It's his belief that a quality hunt cannot be had where
there is competition from other hunters whether they are Alaska residents or non-residents on guided hunts. That's why his areas
are chosen in such remote regions. He hunts areas that are still
like Alaska was in the good old days.
Each client is put in an excellent spot with an excellent guide. He won't settle for second rate performances when it
comes to guiding hunts. It's his belief that every client should receive 110% effort on the part of his guide. This is why
this outfitter isin the top 1% of the guiding profession in Alaska. To produce good results year after year it takes a
dedicated professional guide who won't surrender until he gets the animal his client is after.
Additional expenses would include Alaska non-resident hunting license and appropriate tags.

Alaska Outfitter #2
This outfitter specializes in guided Alaska Dall sheep hunts, in some of Alaska's more rugged and beautiful country.
With hunts ranging from the river bottoms of interior Alaska to the snow crested peaks of the Talkeetna Mountains.
This registered outfitter has been guiding hunters since he was 19 and his work has been featured in Outdoor Life,
Bear Hunting Magazine, Professional Hunter Magazine, as well as several TV shows.
Dall sheep are the cherry on the sundae of Alaska's mountains. Backpacking through the valley floors of the Talkeetna
Mountains and glassing drainages is the hunting method on these hunts. Rams harvested will typically range from 35"-
38" with a 40" ram being exceptional. Physical condition will play a vital role in the success of these hunts, so hunters should be in the best possible condition.. Hunters will need to prepare to pack 50-65lbs for the duration of their sheep
hunt. Spike camps consisting of one man tents create the freedom to relocate should the sheep move or other factors dictate camp locations. Quality WATER-PROOF footwear that is suitable for walking on rocky terrain and side-hilling
for extended periods of time is necessary.
Dall sheep hunts are all fly in hunts that are tent based backpacking camps.
Prior to the hunter’s arrival, (weather depending), clients have the option of a scouting flight that can be flown to
locate perspective rams and determine exact hunting locations. Sheep hunts take place the second half of August.
The majority of their meals are organic, homemade, and made from wild Alaskan game. They can accommodate
most dietary requests also.
All of their hunts are non-smoking and no alcoholic beverages are permitted in camp. We ask that any perspective
clients who do smoke and or drink prepare for this accordingly, and respect their camp rules.
In the interest of staying as unique as possible, we have decided to reformat our pricing options and hunt packages.
These new options will allow for hunters to have more opportunity for their money and get a chance to enjoy Alaska
like never before, with out the worry of trophy fees for additional animals!
Air charter, guide, food, tents and transportation from anchorage to the field and back is included in the price.
Hunts that begin after Aug 9th will be 11 days of actual hunting with a travel day on either end, and one move during
the hunt if needed. Clients can take up to one Dall Sheep, one Wolf, one Wolverine (after Sept 1st) one Grizzly Bear
and three Black bears with no extra costs or trophy fees!
