Alaska Outfitter #1.....
This outfitter "specializes" in guided grizzly bear hunts in some of
the more rugged and beautiful Alaskan countryside. Grizzly bears
are abundant in the Talkeetna mountains of interior Alaska. Hunting valleys rich with blueberries and their migratory routes are the best methods to encounter these nomadic bears. They hunt game unit

offering a late July hunt for those wishing to hunt bears on or near
an active salmon stream. Their late July, early August hunt for 2005
lasted six hours, resulting in a 7’9” boar being taken by lunch time.
13 grizzlies were sighted during that six hour hunt.
Colors vary greatly from blonde to dark chocolate to silver and range in size from 7’ to 9’+. Rifles in the .30 caliber range

We have hunts available during May, June, July, August and September. Black bear can be incidentally taken free of charge on any grizzly hunt and wolves are free of charge for hunts that take place after August 10.
