This outfitter offers rifle Moose hunts on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies and in the foothills

regions of western Alberta as single species hunts and in some cases combination hunts with Mule deer

or Whitetail deer. Wolf /Coyote can be added to most hunts at a minimal cost. Their moose hunts start in

late August and continues to the end of November. They conduct their moose hunts during the rut which

occurs during late September and throughout October. Some of their hunts are in September the rest are

done in Nov. (spot & stalk). The majority of their Moose hunts are done on horseback with a few on ATV's.

Their archery Moose hunts are frequently done as combination hunts with Mule or Whitetail deer starting

late in August to the end of October when the rut is complete. Early season is exciting because the bulls

are active and the deer are not yet wary. October will produce the most reliable results because the bulls

eagerly respond to their calls. Their late season produces on going success as the bulls are more mobile

and predictable as they feed on red willows. There are no minimum requirements for bull Moose in Alberta.
