• Tips
Three options for flying to hunting areas:
A) Commercial Flight:
Hunters will be met at the International Airport and ground transported to their domestic airport (40´), where they will
take the flight to the hunting area. They will be flying together with the outfitter/owner and will be received by his staff \
at the local airport they are flying to in Santa Fe . They will assist each hunter in getting their guns into Argentina at
arrival with no extra charge. They will deliver the forms for this via e-mail and well prior to the hunt. The flight cost from
Buenos Aires to the hunting area is USD $350-$500 each.
B) Private Charter:
This is the best option, but more expensive . This plane will be waiting at the International airport for the hunters and
will depart from that same airport once all hunters have cleared their guns and customs too. Hunters will not have to
run around Buenos Aires with their guns or deal with possible traffic jams, delays, etc. The cost will depend on each
flight, but the estimate is USD $8000 round trip to charter the entire plane for 10 hunters or more, plus all guns and luggage. It is a higher cost but with a larger group is not far from regular commercial fares.
C) Land transport:
The outfitter/owner will arrange an executive mini-bus rental for hunters, and it will be all ground transported from Int.
Airport straight to hunting area. This will take: 9 hours to get to Santa Fe. It is a long drive but much cheaper for those
on a budget of for people that like to see the countryside, and it is not a bad option.
Hunt Itinerary:
• Hunters will start the day early in the morning, around 5.30am when a continental breakfast will be served. You will
be taken to your hunting spots once breakfast is finished.
• Shooting Turns will start at 6.30am until 11am, when they prepare a daily lunch in the field, or they will go back to the lodge for lunch. Nice Argentinian meals, such as beef, BBQ or pork is served. The hunting will start again by 3.30pm
until 7.30pm, when you head back to the lodge.
Transportations is provided in their vans and trucks.
• Best seasons:
Ducks (April until September). Off season hunts for Ducks between October and February. ( Doves all year round) and
(Pigeons, March until October);
• Guns:
They recommend travelling with your own guns, because all guns have a different fit and feel and they don´t want you
to have any difficulties adjusting to theirs, but they do have rentals available and they are at hunters disposal. Bringing guns in Argentina is not difficult and they provide all neccesary paperwork needed to bring yours, there is a fee of USD
$75 per gun.
• Weather & Temperatures:
It is pretty warm all year round and their area is known as a dry place in which rain doesn'tt happen very often.
