British Columbia Outfitter #3
This outfitter is a start to finish custom guide service specializing in extreme backpack style hunts. This outfitter is a
young, enthusiastic, hardworking hunter and guide who will do what it takes to provide you with the hunting adventure
of a lifetime. Since 2003 he has been guiding full time. He is an avid backpack rifle and mountain bow hunter. At 18,
he was granted a permit to guide under the regular age limit of 19. He ventured north away from the family business to
guide for a well known outfitter. He guided with a 100% success rate for all hunts for this outfitter. The next year his
parents and he expanded their operation north, leasing an area. In 2006, he was the youngest outfitter excepted as a
member of the Guide Outfitters Association of British Columbia “GOABC” and is still a member in good standing. In
2007, he expanded again, leasing another area in southern B.C. To date at 25, he has guided in the NWT (Northwest
Territories) , the Yukon, BC and Mexico
Since 2003, he has guided over one hundred hunters, including over 30 archers. Only 3 of his bow hunters have been unsuccessful in harvesting an animal, two of whom were only looking for exceptional animals and have since booked
again and taken their trophy. He has hunted and killed many trophy class animals, 8 Boone & Crockett animals which
includes a 24 5/8 Interior Grizzly with a bow and over 25 P&Y animals.
He offers a spring hunt or a fall hunt both can be very good. On the spring hunt the bears will be eating as much as they
can. As soon as the grass starts coming up the bears will hit it hard to speed up their system from the winter hibernation period. Their claws are at their longest at this time of year, their hides are good early but can get rubbed by the beginning
of June. By mid May the boars will have another thing on their mind and will be traveling a lot more. If you have this hunt
it can be very successful, all you need to do is find a sow and the boar will come. The fall is a great time if you want to
hunt more species on the same hunt, the bears are feeding on the berries and if you can find a good patch you should get lucky. The fall bears are generally heavier but will score the same as a spring bear.
They will help you plan the guided hunting adventure of your dreams. With this outfitters you will hunt only the top areas
for grizzly bear.
