Florida Outfitter #1.....
These Florida hog hunts are located on Florida's Nature
Coast, ( Gulf side ) approximately 90 miles north of Tampa.
The ranch is 1 hr 20 minutes from the Tampa airport or1 hr
45 minutes from Orlando's airport. There are several private
airports within 15 minutes of their ranch. They offer airport
pickup and return for the cost of the driver and fuel.
They offer guided, fair-chase hog hunting on their 1500 acre private hunting ranch. This ranch has approximately 12 miles
of border which is approximately 50% food plots, cut-overs
and planted pine forest with the other 50% being hardwood hammock. They combine forest land and natural vegetation,
with supplemental food plots/game feeders to maintain and
grow trophy wildlife.
This environment makes for a challenging hunt and a harvested trophy you can truly be proud of. As well as hogs this
ranch is home to several varieties of exotic animals that are available to hunt, and are exciting to just observe even
when your not specifically hunting them.
Wild Boar: Historians believe that Hernando de Soto originally brought the Spanish Wild Boar into Florida in the early 1500's. Since that time, they have reproduced and thrived in the rich habitat on this ranch. This ranch offers trophy Wild Boar hunts as well as meat/BBQ hog hunts that are very exciting!
Is a license required?
Yes, however if you do not have one, you need not buy one because it is included in the daily fee.
Who cleans the game I shoot?
Included in the price of your daily fee, they will skin and quarter your game for you.
Can I borrow a rifle?
Yes, free of charge they will provide a rifle and ammunition.
Is the ranch fenced?
Yes, by Florida State law, when you have non-native game, you must fence. Unlike many ranches that tell you they have a huge tract of land to hunt but in reality when you arrive, you are forced
to hunt in a "Pen" under 500 acres, this ranch has a legitimate 12
+ miles of fenced border. This is one reason why this ranch has become the premiere facility of its kind in the sout eastern United States so quickly.
What are the success rates?
Their success rates remain very high across the board but vary somewhat by species. On non-trophy hogs, they are at 100%
on shot opportunity. Their guides are on the property everyday
so they do the scouting for your hunt BEFORE your arrival. On
trophy hogs they are less than 100% but still remain very high.
If I book a hunt for a certain species do I have to take that species?
No, if during your hunt you see another species that you prefer to take, then you may do so at no penalty. You pay for
the species you take not for the one you originally booked. Also if during your hunt you decide to take any additional animals, then you only pay the harvest fee for that animal. You do not pay more than one daily fee per person, per day
Hunting Fees:
