This Maine black bear hunt is located in down, east Maine, and is surrounded by wild, blue berry barrens,
and natural forest lands. The outfitter is offering Black
Bear hunts over bait and leases thousands of acres of
land to ensure low pressure hunting and high success rates. All baits have produced quality bears every year
and they are always in pursuit of more hunting areas.
The lodging will be in either log cabins or cottages featuring a full kitchen, living room, dining area and bathroom with
a hot shower.bed linens, towels, cookware, utensils, gas grills and outside fire pits provided.Group and family hunts welcome. Hunters can fill their days by fishing, four wheeling, site seeing or simply relaxing at camp. Clients will
be guided to an active bait sites in the early afternoon and back to camp at dark. They practice a low client to guide ratio to provide the best maximum hunting experience.
This fully guided hunt includes: Lodging in lake side cabins, all meals prepared, and served, guiding to and from active bait site, bear recovery cutting, and wrapping of meat, and trophy preparation. There will be a welcoming fresh, seafood dinner the
night of arrival, including lobster, steamers and fresh blueberry pie. They will provide
single and two-man metal tree stands, and their guests are welcome to bring their
own stands if desired. The guests are welcome to bring their own boats, canoes, or whatever else makes them comfortable. The bass fishing is great on Bog Lake and several of the other lakes close by. All activities other than hunting are unguided, but
the guides would be happy to share their knowledge of the fishing.
They use motion censored cameras and trail timers throughout the baiting season. This allows
them to gather information on what time bears are hitting bait sites and their approximate sizes.
Bangor International Airport and the Grey Hound bus station are only one and a half hours away (90 miles).Transportation shuttle services are available from the Bangor International Airport to their lodge. There is a $250.00 round trip fee and will be split between all hunters being shuttled.
The hunt will take place on Passamaquoddy Indian territory on the Indian Township reservation.
This historic hunt will only be available to a minimal amount of hunters throughout the world.
There has not been a Spring black bear hunt in Maine until last year since 1981.
This spring bear hunt produced the largest black bear taken in Maine for the spring
of 2007 and 5 of the top 7 largest black bear taken in Miane for spring of 2007

7 nights lodging and 6 Days Hunting. They provide six day hunts, Monday through Saturday,
with several lodging and meal packages available. Please call us to discuss your individual,
group, or family needs. Private cabins are available on the lake. Weeks run Sunday-Sunday,
