game tags to apply for.

All hunts (with the exception of management hunts) will be on the south island with all hunters encouraged to fly

into Christchurch International Airport. The south island gives the option of hunting tahr and chamois which are not available to hunt on the north island. There is also some excellent trout and salmon fishing in the Rangitata river. The

south island is known for it's beauty and where most tourists go for the scenery. "Lord of the Rings" was filmed in

the south island. The ranch they will be hunting on has 2500 acres fenced off for hunting red stag, tahr, fallow, goats

and rams in. Another ranch up the road a short distance offers Chamois. Free range Tahr are also available on both properties. They are limting their free range hunts but they can still offer free range hunts for red stag on the North

Island for animals up to SCI-275 class for a good price of either $US2850.00 or $US3750.00

3. Grand Slam Duration: 7 Days / 7 nights Venue: South Island Animal(s): Red Stag (SCI275-300), Tahr, Chamois, Fallow, Goat & Ram. Comment: The most targeted species by travelling hunters. Some species can be hunted on other blocks, requiring some extra travel. Includes: Trophy fees, airport transfers, meals, accommodation,guiding, field preparation and Goods and Services Tax (GST). Upgrades available. Dates: 20th February – 1st August. Price: $US15,500.00	4. Tahr & Chamois Combo Duration: 3 Days / 3 Nights Venue: South Island Animals: Himalayan Tahr & Chamois Comment: Himalayan Tahr makes an impressive mount with their bushy winter coat. The hunt is on one of our large South Island Ranches. These animals can only be hunted on the South Island of New Zealand. 5. Tahr (or Chamois) Hunt Duration: 2 Days / 2 Nights Venue: South Island Animals: Himalayan Tahr (or Chamois) Comment: This hunt is on private land. Hunts on public land camping under tent or bivvy are also available. For information about this hunt please contact us directly. This outfitter offers New Zealand guided hunts and expeditions in the South Pacific. Their New Zealand hunts are 100% free range. No fences, no ranches, and no relocated game. In hunting New Zealand mountain species it requires

They guide hunters from all over the world for free ranging tahr, r ed deer and chamois. The alps of New Zealand's south island are a breath taking wilderness home to snow capped peaks, rivers, glaciers, tussock grass meadows, and superb habitat for Himilayan Tahr and European Chamois.

Mid elevation forests and meadows in the southern alps harbor wild, roaring red stags. Hunts will be conducted from cabin and tent camps utilizing glassing and stalking for tahr and chamois and calling for red stags.

The New Zealand hunting season is mid March to late April and encompasses the roar of the red deer and the pre rut of both chamois and tahr. Chamois and tahr combination hunts and red deer hunts are 7 days. Red deer combo hunts with tahr and chamois are 10 days. Helicopters are used for travel to and from their base and spike camps. Hunt price includes guiding, meals, lodging, LIC. and heli flight in and out of camp.
