These hunts for Rio Grande and Eastern wild turkeys will take place south of Oklahoma City, in Hughes and Grady Counties. The hunt takes place on numerous private landholdings with the largest being 5,000 acres. The habitat is creek bottoms, hardwoods, and fields. These areas have alarge population of turkeys. Cost of the hunt includes meals, appropriate number of guides and transportation during the hunt, and cleaning of the birds. The hunter will be responsible for his license, personal gear, motel accommodations, weapon and transportation to and from the camp.
